You must Trust Your Truest Truth ~ Cheryl Strayed, quote from the book, Tiny Beautiful Things
As we approach the end of the most shocking and dramatic first month of 2021, let us all lean into this profound wisdom from Cheryl’s quote. Let us keep coming back to this when we feel overwhelmed or confused or afraid or frustrated or ashamed.
Ask yourself one or all of these questions to tap into your wise inner self:
- How do I want to feel?
- How do I want to show up for myself?
- How can I set better boundaries?
- How do I want to live in my purpose and speak my truth?
Finally, ask this final question after deciding on one of the above that resonates with you today:
- And what is the next step I need to take to get me there?
When the answer comes, trust it. Even if it seems impossible or ridiculous. Trust it. Then take the next aligned step towards that direction. And the next one and the next one.
Because that inner self knows precisely what you need to do, say, speak, write, stand up for, advocate for, fight for, and live for.
Listen carefully and Trust Your Truest Truth. Because the other side is glorious. Happiness and Freedom. Living in Your Truth. And why would we want to hide or miss out from that place?
I’d rather live my life knowing I kept showing up, kept learning, and tried every strategy possible, than to leave this world knowing I never even tried or that I gave up right before the breakthrough.
So tell me the next step you’re going to take that allows you to show up in your truest-joyful-liberated version of yourself. I’m curious about what’s up for you these days. Share away – comment, email me back, or chat with me on Instagram. It’s a powerful statement to yourself and the world that you’re ready.
