When life isn’t quite happening the way you expect or want it (e.g., a relationship, a job opportunity or making a sports team), it can be frustrating, particularly if it seems that everyone else around you is living the life you want. Let me share, I have been there myself many times. Of course, this has lead to me search for answers to make sense of the situation by asking why and what can I do differently next time?
Well, I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone and I’m here for you. So let me share some insights, strategies, resources, and encouragement that have helped me gain clarity and move past my self-limiting beliefs that were holding me back.
It’s been through a dedicated practice of self-awareness strategies that has allowed me to shift my inner self and as a result, I have manifested and attracted many opportunities into my life (such as college scholarships, career/promotions, relationships, success, my home, travel adventures). I believe the Universe is on my side and that everything will work out exactly the way it is supposed to and when it’s supposed to.
At the same time, I’m still learning how not to be too attached to the outcome of an action and/or a relationship. Rather I’m progressing towards seeing opportunities and a relationship develop naturally without trying to control everything. Certainly, this isn’t easy for me. I definitely recognize this as one of my current block(s) to further success and love because it’s derived from fear-based thoughts rather than love-based thoughts.
I firmly believe that it’s worth going deeper to reconnect with your divine self, so you can find the clarity and courage to manifest what you truly desire! Abundance is available to all of us. Come from an abundance mentality rather than a lack mentality, then everything will start to shift for you.
Please know this truth: it’s when you’re willing to go deeper to gain awareness of your subconscious thoughts that everything will change for you. When you are able to identify your self-limiting beliefs and able to replace them with a positive sense of possibility and expectancy, then you can manifest what you truly desire!
I know because I didn’t really want to do the work in the past when I was having difficulty understanding and accepting my failed relationships – it’s a vulnerable and scary place to go. However, once you go there, you receive the insight and centering within you to attract what you desire into your life. You need to believe that you deserve this!!
Truth be told, I was reluctant to try journal exercises and meditation. I now realize that I had some resistance to these strategies for identifying and removing blocks, because I was coming from a fear place rather than a loving place.
When I did try positive affirmations and practicing mediation/yoga, I wasn’t consistent or ready to go deeper to make that subconscious shift and remove the blocks that I later identified. I’ve read tons of self-help books and am still reading many more, however, I’m now doing the exercises, being more consistent, and going deeper.
It’s a practice and it’s more about awareness than trying to fix something about you. It’s about moving towards absolutely falling in love with yourself, accepting and being compassionate of everything about yourself even when you make mistakes. You deserve happiness!! And you absolutely need to believe this to the center of your core not just think this! Namaste!
