Today I want to share some life-changing insight with you from a book that made me realize that everything I’ve ever achieved was because of the principles behind it. I recently finished reading The Compound Effect: Jumpstart Your Income, Your Life, Your Success by Darren Hardy, publisher of SUCCESS Magazine and NY Times bestselling author. Of course, I highly recommend you get yourself a copy of this book.

There were so many ah-ha moments in this book that just explained why when I had approached life or a challenge in a certain way that it either worked for me or against me. One ah-ha moment for me was the fact that overnight success is not how it happens, but it sometimes appears that way to others.

Rather it’s about staying with something [Continue Reading...]

Everywhere I go I simply find myself speaking and teaching about green juice and my mostly vegan lifestyle. At work meetings, at social events/gatherings, while on trips, at my wellness chiro’s office, at the gym, after races, and at high schools!

While on my trip to Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala), I had green juice or carrot juice 4 times during my 18 day trip! I was thrilled to discover it while at Pure Natural Health & Fitness Center in Granada, Nicaragua. Then at a healthy bistro place in Antigua, Guatemala. When I visited my friend Jessica in Alberta, Canada, I practically had green juice every day. Lo and behold, Jessica and her boyfriend were drinking right along with me!

About a month ago, out of nowhere, my [Continue Reading...]

Books - IMG_0863.jpg

Previously, I had shared the approach of Becoming a Force to be Reckoned with! At this time, I have a few more life-changing, create a revolution resources/books to share you! So much abundance available to us when we are open to receiving. This is the first year I’ve read so many books for leisure/development purposes, as opposed to academic reasons.

I just can’t stop myself. About a week ago, a box arrived from Amazon with five new books! Last weekend, I attended the NYC Book Launch party for a fellow BSchooler, Christina Rasmussen, Seconds Firsts: Live, Laugh and Love Again. My sister says the living room is looking like a library these days with books stacked on the edge of the couch. As if that’s such a terrible thing? Maybe she’ll [Continue Reading...]

I once had this brilliant insightful psychology professor, Dr. Karen Sherman. In one of our classes, Dr. Sherman shared the rationale of how someone actually decides to leave an abusive or toxic relationship. This really resonated with me so much so that I still remember this from more than 10 years ago, last time I’ve taken a class with Dr. Sherman. And it came to me recently; as I considered sharing with you how to know when it’s the appropriate time to distance yourself from toxic friends and family members.

“It’s when the Cost exceeds the Rewards, that’s when a person decides to leave a relationship.” Dr. Karen Sherman Click to Tweet!

So Empowering, right?! Read that statement again and let that resonate for you.

Basically, a person needs to be beyond their limit, when [Continue Reading...]

PRAISE

Sarina’s intelligent, tactful, yet straight forward demeanor blends well with multiple personalities. As an HR Manager and Life Coach, she has incredible insight as well as great presentation skills. Having had the opportunity to attend a seminar she gave on How to Win Over the Hiring Manager, it was impressive to see how engaged the audience was, and the take away of helpful hints was over the top. Having attended seminars with many of the top ‘name brand’ training companies, I can say that the training received from Sarina was outstanding in its practical, no-nonsense and immediately applicable approach. Sarina was excellent at keeping the whole group involved. The experience was a great investment for all who participated.

Kim Cottage, Greystone Staffing

I just wanted to say I never told you what an amazing woman I thought you were and such a great role model. I know I’m older, but I definitely learned a thing or two from you. It took me some time, but I’m finding my way.

I cannot thank you enough for all that you did! Thank you for your advice throughout the process. The article, Are you Obsessing Over or Manifesting What you Desire, truly inspired me and was very personally relevant to my situation. Great advice and kept me focused on the right energy without obsessing and led to the desired outcome! I was truly not attached to the outcome, just hopeful of it. What less stress and anxiety I felt, as a result. Highly recommend this Manifesting concept!

Sarina as a speaker is inspiring and engaging. Her perspective of Learning How to Embrace Change and How she became a Half Marathon Runner left a lasting impression on my High School Students. How to ʺbounce backʺ from some tough obstacles was empowering and insightful on the approach to life. Keep doing what you’re doing! Look forward to having you back as a Class Speaker!

I loved reading this! I read it twice. This is by far one of the best statements I’ve come across…”holding on longer came at a very big expense of taking or challenging my spirit for life, my energy/motivation, my time, my goals/dreams, my focus, and my physical/mental/emotional health!
