feature-fear-of-whats-to-come

Ask yourself, could you possibly be holding back in one part of your life right now? If this is the case for you, then chances are you may also be holding back in other parts and not even be realizing it! That’s okay, if that’s where you’re at right now, because the first step is bringing awareness into your life. I’m here to help you take the steps forward, so you can keep connecting to your vibrant authentic self rather than let fears, doubts, or excuses get the best of you!

For me, the Fear of What’s to Come is creating some anxiety, as I keep learning how to get out my own way and Step into my Greatness.

What if I shared that I’ve been holding back on truly Stepping into my Greatness by the very way I have been self-sabotaging in my health. Would you believe me? Well, brace yourself, because, this Fiber Queen/Half Marathon Runner/Volcano Vixen/Yogi, has fallen into some addictive habits with chocolate/sugar/excessive gluten lately. Yes, it’s true! There, I’ve said it out loud and shared it with you. On the outside you would never know this, because I’m still eating well-balance high fiber meals and exercising on a regular basis (about 4 days/week right now).

However, on the inside, my body just doesn’t feel as healthy and light as I remember. I definitely attribute it to the overdose of sugar/gluten/caffeine situation. It’s a changing situation though!

Because I’m not tolerating this any longer. I’ve decided I’m going to show up and honor myself in every way possible and stop this nonsense of trying to hold myself back. I’m letting go of trying to self-sabotage. Enough is enough!

I’ve realized I may be allowing the Fear of What’s to Come get the best of me, and it was through my practice of staying connected to my true divine self that I came to this conclusion. By trying to control what will happen next, I’m actually Stepping Away rather than Completely Stepping into my Greatness!

All of which has lead me to take this journey of the Crazy Sexy Diet 21-day adventure cleanse (green juicing/vegan diet approach) in my life. I’m embracing starting over (second chances) and detoxing my self-sabotaging habits and my fears.

I’m tired of being bloated all the time. I’m done with lately not feeling light and healthy from the inside out. Excited about cleansing my thoughts and saying good-bye to all of the toxic built up inside of me! Excited about trying out a few plant-empowered recipes from Crazy Sexy Kitchen/Crazy Sexy Diet by Kris Carr! Will also be revisiting the book Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel to get reacquainted with my food voice!!

I’m Saying Yes to Embracing Liberation and Empowerment! Saying Yes to Stepping into My Greatness!

Realize this. The world needs us to Show Up completely as our authentic selves and to shine our radiance in others lives that we reach everyday.

When you honor yourself to the fullest extent, I mean really honor yourself and be your authentic self not in just some parts but in every single part of your life, then that’s when everything flows and falls into place! Commit today to Honoring Yourself completely and Stepping into Your Greatness! Namaste!

C&R Self – Awareness Exercise with Self-Mantra Practice
Here’s one way to create this awareness in your life. Close your eyes and get centered by thinking about love and happiness, with energy coming out of your heart. Then ask yourself, where am I self sabotaging in my own life right now? What can I do differently today and going forward? Listen to what comes up for you. This is you connecting to your inner divine self. You can even ask yourself these questions say during a run, a spin class, or a walk in nature and let the thoughts flow for you.

Take time to recognize your self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. What negative thoughts, fears, doubts or excuses come up for you? Be honest with yourself, so you can acknowledge it, feel it, and then release it. At the same time, be loving and compassionate with yourself. You were only doing what you thought was best at that time and were trying to protect yourself. Ask yourself these questions above and consider journaling/writing about it right after to see what comes up. Another approach is talking with a trusted friend that you feel comfortable getting vulnerable and real with. Then see the experience for what it is, and the emotions surrounding it. It’s okay to feel the emotions. It’s a healing practice. I go there all the time.

Tell yourself in your mind or out loud with your eyes open or closed, “I am not my mistakes. I choose to see this differently. I choose to forgive and love myself. I choose happiness over this. I am taking the right actions now. I honor myself.”

Keep repeating this Self-Mantra everyday for the next 30-40 days to create a shift and then every time it comes up for you in the future. Remember you’re worth it and deserving of happiness and abundance in all areas of your life! So make time for your dedication. Namaste!
